Quick question, do you need travel adapters in Goa, or is it normal 3 pin plugs?
Regards, Julian
You need an adaptor as I understand - it's a three pinned plug but the pins are round. I presume we can get them at the airport - I hope! Unless anyone knows where you can buy them beforehand?
2 pin , but adapters are readily available in shops in Goa.
All
Eddie, are they the same as the ones you would use in Europe?
Eddie, most of the new properties are the round 3 pin sockets, rather than 2 pin now
Thanks for the update.
Was there in November and the shower head in my digs actually contained the heating element, with red/black wires leading into it. Somehow felt that eveytime i was taking a shower it was like walking into an execution chamber
Anyhow back to topic, noticed Boots sold travel adapters, multi style, with a few combinations of pin styles.
The sockets do take European-type adaptors but they tend to be a bit loose. Buy them when you get there, most shops sell them, they cost around £1 each.
quick answer yes the round two pin Euro adapter plug is OK and if you find it loose a piece of tape does the trick......jxk8
we stayed in the Marinha Dourada and i used the euro 2 pin plugs
