I seem to be having trouble sending pms.
I can return them to someone ones sent me one but having trouble sending them from scratch.
To send one I`ve clicked on pm in quote of person I want to send one to, I`ve then added message, then I`ve clicked on submit button. Message is in my outbox but not me sent box.

I think you'll find Christine that it's sitting there waiting to be picked up by the person you sent it to. Once it has been 'collected'...it will then be shown in you Sent box. 
It will stay in your outbox until such time it has been read by the recipient. After it has been read, it will move to your sent box.
