That's a good way of putting it!! 
I also wear a stylee in my hair when on holiday. It works even on shortish hair like mine. When you lie down on a sunbed they don't dig in. I tend to wear black or gold ones rather than brighter colours or animal prints.
I used to use the stylee's when I had long hair, they were great quick and chic
