Sounds like a lovely idea, but perhaps you should remove your date of travel, think I've an idea who you are, and if correct your GF might work it out too!

You could do the jungle trip organised by Eddie at Daytrippers. The elephant would be able to present the ring to your girlfriend! Oh; how lovely!! And how romantic! Oh to be young again! No comment thank you, KJF!!!

Yes I think I may have worked out who you are, so watch your step and the elephants appetite or you will need a shoval as well

young indians trying to dance,do something more romantic,the elephant ride

at the spice plantation,there is a smaller elephant at the top of the bank before you go down to the walkway,he is very clever and does a load of things by word try talking to his mahout,he should be able to fix it someway perhaps in a basket for instance,you will just have to fix it to get away to talk to him

What if the elephant swallowed the ring??

The only question I pop after a meal is, "Are you paying for this or what?"

Seriously, I hope wherever you choose, you'll get the right answer. Makes the rest of the holiday a bit of a bummer if you don't!!

What about the overnight trip on the rice boat on the Mandovi River??

VERY relaxing ...even afternoon 'tiffin'. Watch the sunset (more romantic than on a Sunset Cruise).

With you Betty Boop, rice boat trip, we went from Siolim, was very romantic, well imagine it would be with the right man

Have ditched the idea about a Sunset cruise!!

Have emailed my taxi driver from last time and waiting for him to make contact (!!) and I will ask him to contact the mahout at the spice plantation - went there last year for the ride and the washing which first prompted my idea although I think there other alternatives for heffalumps somehwere?

The overnight rice boat sounds nice and romantic and has given me an alternative idea - how easy to arrange from Candolim? I will have a look on Daytrippers to see if I can sort from here and go from Candolim although may be cheaper to arrange when I'm there? Any advices welcome!!

Will see if I've still got details of who we booked it with - we'd asked at our shack - Fishermans...and Sam told us. It was an agent in Baga...on the left hand side - Sam used to work for them sometime before. Cheaper than through the reps..plus a lot of people were told it was fully booked - we had no problem booking. (If I can't find name - I'll ask Chilly to ask Sam for me!)

Us and 3 other couples. Two couples upstairs (we were one of them)..and two on the 'ground' floor. It was just that bit special All 'cabins' had bed - table, two whicker chairs and own shower and loo too.
