I really like Puerto Andraitx. It's a picturesque resort surrounded by hills with a lovely natural port and smart marina. Although we usually stay in Camp de Mar which is the next resort, we always contrive to have at least a few evening meals eating alfresco at one of the quayside restaurants watching the sun setting over the hills. Idyllic stuff! It's a resort that doesn't tend to attract families with young children or groups of young people because it lacks a decent beach - blink and you could miss it - and the nightlife is very low-key but that just adds to it's appeal for us. If you prefer quieter resorts then it will suit you just fine.

Thanks Robbo.
That sounds perfect for me. At this stage we're past the family holiday scene & looking for quieter resorts. Boring??!! Don't care!

If you stay at that end of the island and like quieter places try St Elm,it is a small town/village with a very pretty beach.we find it very relaxing.about 5 miles from port andraitx

Thanks shrimper, but think we've settled on Port Andraitx. Will do a tour & look at St Elm when we're there. Any other suggestions of must-sees/dos? We've been to Deia & Valldemosa,Soller & Palma & would be very happy to re-visit these great places, but is you know of anywhere else, let me know!
:thanks
