Hi reptar

I bought mine form Keith Prowse but I'm not sure if the site is still working. We went in June and we founs it good value but I'm not sure what's on offer at the moment although I know it is cheaper to buy here rather than wait and buy at the gates. I also know when we were there late last year some people in th ehotel were 'ripped off' by some offer tickets they had been given out there and ended up paying more than the gate prices. Ticket Attractions (not sure of spelling) may have offers on
Hope you can get sorted

Thanks Bev.

I thought it was something you saw recently...... knew it was too good to be true...

I ve been 3 times over the years and usually find some sort of deal, but with the £/euro being so bad I dont see it getting any cheaper.

Please note the ticket you purchase is ONLY valid in the year you stipulate in your departure date.

Its not 4 days for 3....
Its 3 days, but you can do the waterpark and the main park in 1 day on the 2nd day, maybe the waterpark in the morning/afternoon and the main park later in the day.

I m going on July 9th for 2 weeks staying at the Donaire Park in La Pineda. Been there 3 times previously.

Have a great holiday.

:cheers

La Pinda is nice :) TBH not to interested in Costa Caribe (rather do Aquapolis), so 3 visits to PV Park will be enough.
Thanks again. Have a super holiday :tup

Hi,

Just booked cheap flights to Salou and now looking at Hotels and Portaventura tickets. There will be 6 adults (47,42,25,22,20,19) and 3 children (5,2,1) and altough we have been to Salou a couple of times I was wondering If anyone could suggest a good half board hotel or A/I hotel that would be suitable for us. A nice swimming pool and a good kids club would be great. It would also be good if we was close to the centre/beach. We have stayed at the Best Oasis a couple of times and now fancy a change. Any thoughts would be great, I am about to begin the exciting time of search search search lol.

Also, looking to book tickets for Portaventura and have looked at the usual attraction tix and 365tickets, does anyone know of any offers out there?

Thanks alot for any help you can provide.

Hi Sue

We stayed at the El Paso twice although I think the last time was three (maybe four?) years ago. You didn't have to pay for park tickets as they seemed to come included in the hotel price. It was half board both times and the food was fine then, but I guess you would need to check some recent reviews to make sure the food is still OK. They seemed to have rooms that slept 2, 3 and 4 people so a bit of flexibility there if people are prepared to share.

The code MAX gives you 10% off Portaventura tickets at Attractiontix.
Also if you go through Topcashback you get a furthe 4.04% cashback.
I just save £25-50 on 3 adult tickets and will wait to see if the cashback is paid as well. should be around £11-00 cashback.
Hope this helps someone else save some money.

hi
does anyone know if you can take your own food and drink into the park or do you have to purchase it all there
many thanks

I think you probably could but it would be best in backpack style rucksacks rather than walking in with a lot of cool boxes if you get my thinking.

I've been twice, but its a few years since I've have been, I am racking my brain to think if there were any picnic areas as such, which would be a good indicator, but can't remember any. Hopefully someone will come along with a better memory than me.

hi....its always been said that you cant bring your own food ect into the park....but all the years we went it wasnt ever enforced....no ones bags ever got searched ect....we always took our own ...but like doepsmc says if you walk in with cool bags ect it would draw attention to the fact you were taking food in....but a back pack style rucksack would be OK....we used to just sit on a bench somewhere and eat our butties and crisps ect...no one ever bothered us....just dont throw litter around....if you want to eat in park use the wild west ....you get a decent burger and fries....tweetie

We took our own sandwiches and drinks in and no one stopped us.

Its 12 Euros for a hot dog and fries.... :really

This was at the end of July this year.

Hi all just got back today. We only did the 2 days at PA and it was mobbed. 2half hours wait for some rides like furious :yikes The worst is waiting for Turtle Vision 4D(11mins show) Aquamania(4min show). I might be getting old but I used to prefer the old dolphin sea odessey.
Regarding food deffo take some in and water, we did and never had bag searched :) We did purchase 2 pints of local larger and 2 pepsi, for the girls in the saloon bar, at a staggering £12.50!!!

We were looking at the resort hotels and would love to do it if they were All Inc. First Choice do all 3 of the resort hotels and as they are only specializing in All Inc Hols next year, I don't know how that will work?
