Hi Murston

There are two daily bus services to and from Portinatx. One to Ibiza town and the other to Santa Eulalia

Here are the timetables:-

As far as I know there isnt a direct service to Es Cana from Portinatx but you can get there from Santa Eulalia.

I've always used an ATM and never taken traveller cheques. There are at least two machines in Portinantx. You will probably always get a better exchange rate using the card. In fact, I think Nationwide doesnt charge a transaction fee but I don't know for sure.

If I can recommend one place to visit it would be Ibiza town. Others here though will have their preferences so hopefully more folks will join the thread.

Hi James,

You are not very far from the caves at Pueto San Miguel. Here's an earlier topic about them......

Can't see a bus that runs there from Portinaz but I guess taxis would not be too much given the distance.

You can get a bus from StE to Es Cana for the hippy market or take the ferry from the side of the Marina to Es Cana. Just be aware that there will be queues for either when you want to get back

John.
