I have had no confirmation in writing of our cancellation


Have you confirmed in writing? Yes you may have paid the balance of the deposit as required , but you are relying on the person with whom you spoke recording the details of the cancellation correctly.

As you have not received acknowledgement in writing from them has it been done?

Thanks fwh. No I did not do it in writing, but have just this minute sent them an email requesting confirmation and saying we paid £160. I do have proof of the £160 on my bank statement though.

It is always best to cover yourself - just in case.
