Sulk, sulk and sulk!
Start emptying cases, load the washer and put the kettle on for a cuppa (if its daytime) or grab a beer out of the fridge (if its evening), obviously, inbetween sulking!!
Look at how much the grass has grown and look up at the clouds in the sky - and wish it was this time a fortnight ago and I was back in the lovely sunshine and enjoying ourselves!!!!
I really do need to get a grip when returning from hols, as I always say to my sons when they say they don't want to go home 'thats a sign of a good holiday, theres plently of people who can't wait to get home, because they haven't enjoyed theirs for whatever reason'
7 weeks to go for our next one ................... and counting!!!!
Elaine
Our main holidays are in November and late February to Goa, as we always arrive back home in the evening, it's dump cases, straight to pub to p**s everyone off with the stories and the tans, especially as the weather is normally awful at that time, can't beat it.
Then its a quick flick through the post to make sure nothing untoward is lurking !!
Depending on what time of the day it is, I normally start unpacking the "dirties" and get the first load of washing on. If its late, then I will leave it all until the next morning.
Something to eat, normally the "final" take-away before its back to some serious dieting for me again .
Normally have an early night. I really look forward to sleeping in my own bed and glad to be home, but spend the rest if the year wishing I was back there again.

I have to unpack before I can settle - I hate the idea of it staying there until the next day so while I'm doing that hubby is usually checking the post, emails and downloading our piccies.
It depends what time we get in, but normally put the kettle on for a proper 'english cupa', wade through the pile of junkmail waiting for us, upload my photo's on to the PC and catch-up on my backlog of questions on here!
Turn heating on
Turn fire on
Turn up all radiators
Boil kettle for hot cup of tea.
Stick PJs on radiator
Check mail for nasty surprises
Climb into bed dressed like an Eskimo wishing I was still in Thassos!
Leave unpacking cases til morning as due to the p*ssing rain the suitcases were still in the car!
I couldn't believe we got back mid June it felt more like mid November!
