The hotel itself is in the most ideal location. The food was well presented and not too bad. The hotel was clean and maid service was daily, but the rooms were tiny.
To get your head down at night, if that's all you need this hotel will benefit you. Though I would say it is more suited for young couples or groups of young people on a holiday. Certainly nothing much in the way of entertainment.
The pool was small, though a lifeguard was on duty daily. The kiddies playground was up around a dark corner out of sight of the main hotel area. The only toilets on site were downstairs in the restaurant area of the hotel, which is a real inconvenience to keep going too. There was a toilet outside by the pool but the lights never worked and it was pretty much always left in a mess.
So for anybody wanting to stay at Playa De Oro there's our verdict anyway.
