I was surfing the net last night and came across a link to a place where i could buy a new static caravan in France. Anyway i thought it sounded like a good idea, but i have a few questions.
On average how long will a new static caravan last before you can no longer keep it on the same site ?
Is static caravaning in France much the same as it is in England ? (such as ground rent and things)
Who would be the best company to buy a static caravan from ?
Has anyone else got any advice about buying a static caravan in France ?
Hi 12noon
We own a static mobile in the south of france, and are just in the process of changing it for a brand new 3 bedroomed one, which goes into place in September. We have owned one now for 15 years. If you'd like to contact us direct we can tell you costs etc...all contact details are on our website.
This is another thing that will have to be changed ready for 2008 season.
Our site have told us that our new mobile can stay on indefinately, but then again I wouldnt take too much notice of that as they change their minds like the wind.
Hope we can be of some help,we are away to ours on Saturday for 3 weeks, but will reply on our return.
Mandy
Thanks mandywrecsam. I'll go check out the Camping & caravaning forum now.
