Has anyone caught the bus from Santa Cruz out to Playa de las Gaviotas, and is the bus stop near the beach or a long hike from it.

what are the beaches like their ? we're staying in PDLA and told the beaches are dark sand , i hate that !! los cris and las vistas are lovely white sand , just wondered if la cruz is white too ?

I've not caught the bus to Las Gaviotas but according to the Titsa web site it is the linea 245 Please see the web site here and check timetable don't know where the stops are sorry.

The best beach on Tenerife is Las Teresitas man made beach. Facilities are some bars and simple restaurants. Popular with the populace of Santa Cruz at weekends and holidays so can get busy. There are plenty of palm trees providing shade on this wide beach.
Las Gaviotas is a small, black sand beach, popular with the young and nude bathing does happen here.
