Met people form all over the world, made loads of friends including some US marines and couples from New Zealand who we still keep in touch with.
As the Americans would say: "awesome"!

I had sunglasses cleaned, my face sprayed with Evian water, sun loungers arranged and towels laid out, service from all staff was amazing. The maids to did an excellent turn down service ie chocs and sweet meats laid out on pillows everynight. To tell you the truth it was just fab, fab, fab
I wonder if they will do the same for me at the Viva Blue next year
I must email them to find out... LoL

nevis in the caribbean, 1997 followed by the dom rep in 2004.
hoping to add mexico in 3 weeks time to the list in the near future!
Eifion.
It would be easier to pick my worst holiday ever. The good are the same and none of them are better than the one before.
No, I really can't single any one out. However, my least favourite holiday (though still enjoyed) was in Santo Tomas Minorca when the children were young.
I wasn't "into" researching hols in those days and ended up in this resort which was in the middle of nowhere with nowhere outside of our s/c complex to wander in the evenings. It was a really quiet resort but we ended up hiring an open toped jeep (which the boys loved) to visit the beach and various other resorts of the island.
Minorca is definitely not one of my top 10 destinations though. Each to their own.
Probably Kardamena Kos because of the company. All the famiyl went- ages ranging from 1 to 65. It was fab. Our first ever foreign holiday to Figueretas Ibiza was pretty special too. It took us 2 years to save for it as I didn't go out to work when the kids were small, and we savoured every moment of it. We certainly caught the holiday bug.
I've got 2. One was a 5 month trip round Western Europe in 2004 and a 4 week trip in Malaysia in 1998.
It has to be our holiday to New Zealand in January/Feb this year
Best holiday by far was to disneyworld. everyone was so nice and the parks are brilliant even for someone like me who is scared of rides.
hopefully we will take our granchildren in a few years.
Has to be 3 weeks in Japan. A totally different culture. Great trips on the bullet train, amazing toilets which took your blood pressure, musical lamposts, electric carpets etc. A wonderful party for us from my son's workmates. Brilliant!
This may not be exoctic but one of the best was a holiday in Sunny Beach Bulgaria with Mother and Father in law and our 2 children and at the time future son in law (now family) I think may be it was because of the vast generation of ages(16 to 69) and there was something for everyone.
Three and a half month trip some years ago. I travelled alone and had a wonderful time: spent a few days in Bangkok and Singapore, did a package tour from Sydney to Cairns, visited family in Queensland. got the Greyhound bus through the centre, stopping off at various places; visited friends in Western Australia and came back via HongKong. I am still in touch with some of the people I met then.
