Just got back from this hotel today - all in all a great holiday - just a few gripes.
Apartment space great
Food excellent choice and well presented
Good kids clubs and plenty entertainment
Reception staff great
Fridge, micro etc in room which was excellent
Great location, very central but not too close to bars etc
VERY noisy corridors, noise travelled through the rooms a lot
Maid service fair - clean towels and bedding daily, but floor in room filthy

We went to the Avenida in 2003 and there was a option to pay HB when you get there but for the life of me i cant remember how much

I do know that it was cheaper than booking through th TA though. We only had it once and the food was lovely but we like to try all different places but if you email them they should get back to you with a price.

If you search for golden hotels you can email the hotel direct. It only cost us about 240€ for the week when we went self catering one year but Thomsons offered it to us for £250 so it was cheaper to upgrade there.
Hi there , im about to book this hotel up but wondered if anybody could recommend where to request to be situated in thehotel , i have read that in the middle over looking the pool is probably the best place to request but im unsure so any info would be appreciated ... thanks
Pool views are ok. We were in room 121 and 222 which over looks one of the roads and we never had much problem as it's isn't the busy road. But the 3rd year we got a pool view and we found it very nosiy as some incosiderate guests would sit on the terrace and be noisy until 3am.

Can anyone let me know what the lie of the land is around this aparthotel? Not been to mainland spain before. Not expecting it to be flat but cann't cope with steep hills!

It's all flat round the Avenida. The walk to the town and beach is completely flat.
Thanks Groovee, That is great for us. A new experiance to go here. Travelled all over but never to mainland Spain. Fancied a short flight from local airport. Lets hope the euro keeps rising!

You can buy breakfast or dinner or half board. Not sure of current prices though.

Spoke to hotel and breakfast starts at 6euro a day per person (age 12+)

They've not changed the prices much as that's how much they were when we started going in 2004.
