Hi we are looking at going to the Maldives for 3 weeks next year. We have looked at first choice and virgin but im curious, are there any websites for booking online and checking deals?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

We have been with Skytravel who put the deals from all sorts of companies, there's Teletextholidays.co.uk another who is not company basis ,plus the usual travel companies who have their own websites eg Tompson's, hayes and Jarvis, travelbag etc all do book on line - you may find it easy just to Google Maldives holiday - which will bring up a whole load. But I would suggest you only deal with companies covered by ABTA or ATOL and what the overseas ones as some have been identified as scams
Thanks sg1 ill have a look on the teletext site and Google.
If you get a price on the net then take it instore towards the end of a month (as it is near commission time) and ask a sales rep if they can match / beat the price......
Everytime we have asked we have always got around an extra £100 off per person, a buy one get one free Seaplane Transfer (saving another £79) and FREE GOLD Insurance (which we had to use every year for the past 3 due to 24 hour flight delays - which got us an extra day in the Maldives and £100 compensation)
So a whopping amount of around £500 discount... You know the saying, if you don't ask - you don't get
For example --- Last October we went to Sun Island and was quoted £1700 each (£3400 total) we paid £1400 each (£2800 total) saving us £600
Where have you stayed the 3 times you have been? Has it always been the same Island, or have you been to 3 separate ones?
We are looking to chill chill chill
It's always been Sun Island ---- We had a few day trips to other Islands to see what they were like, but none of them compared to the facilities that Sun Island had to offer
We have stayed at Sun Island it is the biggest island with plenty of activity they have their own website so you may want to check it out as because of its size some people find it too large. We have also been to Club faru - small but near male so not every body's cup of tea and Biyadhoo which is really simple and laid back with the main activity being Diving, snorkeling and lying on the beach again some people don't like it's rustic style and it is just starting to renovate nothing major just re thatching, painting etc
