hi just been talking to a freind who stopped at villefrance for a day and she said the prices were extorionate, can anyone put me right on the price of some basic essentials or eating out, compared to british prices.

There are lots of quite expensive restaurants on the waterfront, but if you go further back into the town, there are some pedestrian streets where we found eating out much more reasonable.
