Has anyone ever been on a Wine Tasting break in the UK? I would quite like to do this for my birthday in November. Using Google etc, I've managed to find http://www.three-choirs-vineyards.co.uk/ - but their wine breaks are 2 nights long and we only want to go for one. We live in Nottingham so would want to travel more than 2-3hrs by car to get anywhere.

it's not a break as such but there is a wine tasting place in london called Vinopolis http://www.vinopolis.co.uk/
which is very good and only takes a few hours, then you could go out in london?

Thanks for your responses. We'd already dismissed Vinopolis as we don't like London. I've looked at the Chilford Hundred Vineyard website and they only appear to do corporate hotel packages. Looks like I might have to look for something else to do for my birthday!
