Mijas is just a very short bus ride away from Fuengirola, and apart from tasting the wine....there is alot of culture in the village.....the views are spectacular....just avoid the donkeys and the touristy junk.

If you manage to go inland, the place is littered with small privately owned bodegas...all will gladly let you sample their wine for a few Euros.
