Isn't there one kind soul who can reply to my question?

we stayed in bulgaria a few years back to receive english sky broadcast you would need a two and half or three metre dish to pick up the signals fully, thease are very expensive, i did not see any of that sort of size

Thank you. I'm sure we will find plenty of other things to amuse ourselves!

Your best bet would the the Red Lion at one end of Party Street. They advertised Sky but I think the selection of channels is limited so I don't think it was sky sports as we know it. Watched quite a few football games there though. Big bar with plenty of screens.

We have watched Sky in Bulgaria on numerous occasions. Plenty of bars with the tv and I also watched my beloved Newcastle live on Bulgarian TV against Aston Villa.

You will also find they cover a lot of arabic TV which covers the premiership matches.

That's brilliant you two! Thanks a lot. Feel better now. There's two tournaments on while we're there so am made up now!
By the way, my hubby wants to know is there Stella Artois and how much is it a pint? If not, what do you recommend?

I am stoping at the victoria palace hotel and they have sky sports in the bar and have listed it as a hotel feature in the brochure if you get desperate. :)

You can buy Stella out in Bulgaria but it is an imported beer and is therefore costly in comparison to the 1-2 Lev a pint of the local lager, which by the way is very nice ( Zagorka or Kaminiski). Think
I've spelt them right.

I'm writing this whilst in Golden Sands. No problem with Sky Sports at all. We watched Liverpool (sadly lose) yesterday. Sky Sports is everywhere! No Big Brother though but you can watch it on the internet the day after.
