hi princess amy,i think santa eulalia would be quite accessable as a lot of it is quite flat, there is definatly a ramp down to the beach.not sure about transport though, sorry.a lot of the bars and restaurants on the seafront have direct access so i think you would be ok. :wave mo.

The difficulty with ibiza is that it doesnt have the Disability disremination Act like in the UK where business are required to made there premises easily accessible where practical.

to be honest the majority of resorts ( whith the exception of portinax and san miguel that spring to mind) are relatively flat with flat promenades although not many i can think of have any wheelchair facility to get either onto the beach or certainly to the waters edge. I think its difficult to really get an advise on which resort would be best for you as there are a lot of factors to consider such as the accessibility of the hotel you plan to stay in (some hotels dont have ramps but stairs to get in to them), the layout of the resort (whether flat/hilly and width of pavements etc), and finally accessibility into restaurants and bars.

From my knowledge the beaches at san antonio, playa den bossa are accessible via ramps and have boarded walks nearly up to the sea front although there is no real promenade in playa den bossa, resorts with inaccessible or beaches with steps would be san antonio bay, figueratas, es canar and portinatx boat trips are available from a number of resorts especially san antonio although access onto these boats may be a bit difficult as it tends to be via a narrow walkway/gang.

The only resorts i would suggest you dismiss would be portinatx and san miquel and bear in mind tht the larger resorts probably have more facilities for people in your situation (san antonio, playa den bossa, santa eulalia), hope this is not patronising, but here are some links for disabled hotels and facilities in ibiza

Thank you for the info and the links to the hotels, will certainly look into them. I was thinking of going to either San Antonio or Playa Den Bossa. What is everyone's views on these resorts? My idea of a holiday is spending the days by the beach or the pool and at night I like going few a drinks in nice bars and maybe watching some good entertainment. Not really into all night clubbing. I have read on some reviews that San Antonio can be of a party central, is it as a mad as I believe it to be. I have read that people go to San Antonio to see the sunset, if I was in Playa Den Bossa, would I be able to travel to San Antonio by taxi and if so how much would it be.
Many thanks again for your info, it's much appreciated
