Hi all,

I am going to Ayia Napa in october 10-17th and staying in the new famgusta, first of all can anybody tell me what this accomodation is like. Also whilst we are there we are going to watch Wales V Cyprus playing in Nicossia, can anybody tell me how far this is from Ayia Napa and also is there good public transport etc.

Any good restaraunts around accomodation also !!!

There are some reviews of the New Famagusta here http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/cyprus/ayia-napa/new-famagusta-hotel/ Including a recent one from June this year.

Take a look at the Eman Travel website for prices and buses to Nicosia http://www.emantravel.com It looks as though they only go Monday - Saturday and one bus a day Ayia Napa depart 08:00 depart Nicosia 15:00

So the timings might not be right for your game ?

You could always hire a car for a couple of days pretty cheaply once you arrive in Napa, expect to pay around £15CYP per day.
