Our Previous visits have been with our older families and young children, which was fine, however this year things have changed...
We were going away by ourselves (just the two of us) but after all our drooling and dreaming about it we have now got a few other interested parties. IE My Sister in law and her family and our middle daughter and her boyfriend....
My question is, where are the lively type places, Karaoke, loud music, dance etc etc that the 19 to 28 age range are likely to want to go to.... we sort of normally avoid such places but I don't mind pointing at them... lol
thanks
Steve
Pernera is lovely. I am in my thirties so not tooooo old! In penera itself there are some bars with karaoke, sport and films on big screen. It is lively without being too much. If they want clubs and a busier atmosphere then Aiya Nappa is very easy to get to either by bus or taxi and even Protaras I found very lively.
I can highly recommend, if eating out the restaurant courdon blau at the very end of the main strip of shops and restaurants.
Also if you have never been before, dont think Aiya Nappa is just for the partying generation. It is a lovely town to walk around day or night and some lovely restaurants. The old monastry is right in the centre of the town, you can see the weddings taking place. It only comes alive at about midnight, infact last August club staff were saying that it was a very quiet season.
Another place to go is the famagusta view point at paralimni. It is only a short ride away, nominal fee to get in but a real eye opener with all the information about the turkish invasion. I am not usually interested in history but was facinated by this.
Have a fantastic time
Karen
