We stayed right opposite the Romantic in the Mandarin who are part of the same group as far as I know.. Location wise they are up a slight hill (3 mins walk) from the beach front. The Mandarin were fine - comfortable beds, basic kitchen - excellent air conditioning and apartments were always kept very clean. Staff were helpful while we were there but we didnt spend a lot of time in the apartment grounds. As far as I can remember the romantic are slightly older than the Mandarin but standards something similar.. Hope this is of some help,
