Please try Chilli Peppers, it was by far my favourite restaurant!!! I'd say it was better than djannies but u will pay a little bit more.

Sorry to hijack this post with a different restaurant but the Arizona Steak House was very nice when we went last year, but it was a little dearer than most restaurants but had some excellent burgers/steaks.

Interested to hear where this Chilli Pepper restaurant is.

re: ARIZONA steakhouse - no where near as good as last year , the servive was very poor , ordered the 8oz steaks with veg , got a steak resembling a shriveled burger and the veg was 3 pieces of tomato and 3 pieces of cucumber ( arn't tomatoes part of the fruit family )

the best steaks we ate were from the MARVEL STEAK HOUSE, this is a steak house built since last year on the side of the marvel hotel , situated behind the majestic hotel and the victoria palace , the little train stops out side of it if your coming from the kuban strip . ate there regular excellent service , i had a sirloin steak +chips+onion rings+mushrooms+side salad and veg (real veg)

Shame to hear the Arizona Steak House has dropped in quality.

Chilli Peppers is on the main strip, if you walk down the strip from the beach, it's on the left next to the mexican. you can't miss it!
we ate out every night, and I'm sorry but you will not find a better steak anywhere else.
Excellent service is also included here. When we were there they had a lovely little band playing soft music as you ate; great touch.

You must try it here- though as i said, expect to pay a bit more...

Went to Djannys twice. Both times it was very cheap:

4main meals
1 bottle of wine
6beers
3 vodka mixes

totalled about 25lev each (£12)

Service can be a bit poor at times especially when busy and the staff ca be rude. We had a blonde woman the second time who looked really annoyed when we asked for another round of drinks!!

Also (and again not hijacking) but the mania cub (near Condors) has an amazing restaurant with lovely leather furniture and fountains. Even cheaper than Djannys and the draft larger was the best i tasted!

4 x half a chicken, chips & salad Gorgeous
1 x lasagne & chips
2 x garlic bread
1 x broccoli in cheese sauce
1 x mushroom sauce
1 x yoghurt & honey dessert
2 x large beers
1 x small beer
2 x kids drinks

60 lev & it was all yummy

We ate at Djannys twice while there this year and to be honest the food was great both nights although due to the high number of people in the restuarant we had to wait an hour and 10mins between starter and main course (on the point of leaving when it arrived). As I said it was good food but when the people at the next table left and the waiter cleaned out the ashtrays then used the same cloth to clean the table that was enough for us....no more Djannys

Chillie peppers I can recommend for a good meal and pleasent staff!
