Has anyone been and stayed in a villa in the orlando area? We go in 4 weeks and wondered if there are beach towels there or not.

Have been asking Thomson and they are totally useless, not even got the address yet and we fly on 3rd aug.

Just returned from our holiday in Orlando,our villa had so many towels
we only needed to use a few of them , there was also a washer and dryer.
There were bathroom towels and beach towels.

All homes will be individually owned and furnished so whether there are pool towels will depend in the owner.If when you get there there are no darker ones for the pool then they are very easily and cheaply bought over there.As far as Thomson not telling you where you will be staying the truth is they don't know as they are simply one of probably 3 agencies involved in the renting of the home you are in and you more than likely won't get any details until you land and see a Thomson rep who will give you details of where to go to get the keys and information of where your home is going to be.

You are correct but if you have allocation on arrival accommodation then you need to put the address of the management company usually - something Thomson might help you with otherwise ask them what they suggest you put down .
Thanks, I will do. I have just called them as I want to book actual seats and they say we should have the address when we get the tickets, will believe it when i see it

We would have done that but I had to use the money I had with Portland, we cancelled a holiday to cuba as they did not bother telling me that half the hotel was closed for refurb, it was all inc and we would have lost 2 bars and lots of other stuff too.

Only 1 day to go now, getting excited. Kids just want to get there now, I just want to see the villa and see if we have a jacuzzi or games room. The ones on the thomson website do but on the portland there is no mention of it despite being the same company and the same villas gold.

Maybe next time book a fly drive, and book your villa independently too ...... that way you can choose one that ticks all your boxes before you go.
This is often (but not always) cheaper too.

Thanks, like I said i would have done this if had not to use the money paid to portland for another holiday.
