There are a few b&b's nearby in the town of Cavelossim which is not far from bettys.. one is Sao Domingos, I was talking to a girl from Australia that was staying there for a month alone last Xmas, she said she felt very safe and Edwin and his lads looked after her well.
Another is Gaffinos, don't know much about that one to be honest.
Or you have the Palm grove - Tightjock one of our other members will be able to give you info and contact details on that one.
Im not sure how much pp per nite they charge though.
Not much help really am I - except I will say you will love cavelossim and don't worry about being alone, we met plenty of people who were there on their own. You will always find someone to talk to.
I will have a look online for those places and see what i can find..fingers crossed one has a website or costs somewhere...thankyou x

Hey vegasone,
its flakster
The Palm Grove will do a good room rate in October and is very clean. Laurence also has a 6 seater people carrier for day trips and is free of charge within 3km of the Palm Grove which covers Bettys
Thanks
You could though I would e mail or phone Laurence so you can relax as even though it is before "our season" there is still a domestic market, he'll give you a good rate either way.
we have stayed at joes holiday homes in cavelosim last season in november they are basic clean rooms we paid 300r a night but it varies according to the season and how good you are at bargaining joe very kindly put a mossie plug in , in our room while we were out and there is a night man on overnight and joe sleeps downstairs on the floor as well . one of the girls also does laundry for guests at a reasonable rate ,next door at vinny's you can get a really good english breakfast if you feel the need for one he also has a popular english , indian and goan menu
