we've just booked for next year and noticed that the prices have gone up quite a bit u really have to look around and do your homework !!!!! booked turkey in may 4* AI 2 adults and 1 child came to £630. we could have booked costa brava for £450 but never been to turkey and thought we would splash out !!! We have booked with Portland, the same holiday with Thomson ( same company !!!!!!) was £980 and with JMC about £850 !!!!!! Personally we cant afford to spend thousands to go in august but we are really looking forward to going to turkey

I too have been looking for 2008 and so far with Portland I've found some bargains, £727 for 2 adults, 2 children in May for 2 weeks in a 3T accom S/C inc everything but insurance.

The only problem is that we went there year before last and I'd like to try somewhere different. 2 years ago we went and it cost £659 for 2 weeks so not that much of an increase.

Didn't go away last year went camping in the uk as all the hols were so expensive. Thought the same about this year but did manage to get 1 week for £600 in the Algarve.

Always on the look out for a bargain!!
