Hi there. We stayed at the Capo Bay in Protaras in 2005 and had a day trip to Paphos. Considering staying in Paphos next time we go. However we really liked the sunbed allocation scheme at the Capo Bay. We also swim in the sea a lot, never the hotel pool, so want a hotel that is right on the beach. Capo Bay was very safe, we could leave cameras/money beside loungers when went down steps to beach.
Can you recommend a similar type of hotel in Paphos? 3 or 4 star, B&B only. Not into raving nightlife, just want nice places to eat. Also, anywhere close to the town/harbour would be nice, or would it be too noisy?
All advice/experience welcomed. I have had a quick look at some hotels, but there are so many to choose from and it would be nice to narrow it down a bit with some help!
Alexander the great sounds like what you are looking for
I was going to recommend the Alexander the Great too - it sounds just what you're looking for...
Alexander The Great is definately what you are looking for, we stayed there last year and had a great time. The allocation of the sunbeds is good, no mad dashes at ungodly hours to get one. The hotel itself is very good too, have a look at Portland holidays they do it cheaper than anyone else I found.
Yes definately Alexander the Great. Got back from there just over a week ago. Hubby still had to go and put the towels on OUR sunbeds before we went for breakfast though. He's not used to not having to do the early morning dash.
