Buy it on the Plane or in Duty free on arrival at the Airport, As to buy in the shops in Turkey Whisky is expensive as are all imported drinks.
Strangely enough, we've found that in some of the supermarkets in Turkey whisky is cheaper to buy than in Scotland! Never heard of the brand, but it tastes fine. We find this in other countries too. Very strange!
As rwb46 said, get it in Duty Free on the way out, they have always got an offer on or get it on the plane. When we went on the plane last September it was two bottles for £16. Never buy bottled spirit in resort, it is expensive.
Thanks Cruisecontroller for that, Tishtosh I really dont know what your buying at the Supermarket (which one) but all Genuine Scotch whisky sold inside Turkey has an Import price added to it, I can only assume as to what your buying as being Fake my friend.

Well, having lived here for 3 and a half years, I have never found that, or anything remotely close to that.
nothing strange about finding whisky cheaper abroad than it is in scotland considering the greedy uk government put 90% tax on it, bit strange a scot can't spell whisky though.
Maybe he's Irish.
I agree, both the Irish and Americans spell Whisky with the extra E (Whiskey) it's the way I tell straight away that it's not scotch.
