How hot is it at the moment in Olu Deniz/Fethiye?
We see reports on GMTV that its 45 degrees but BBC and Yahoo weather say 35 or 40 at most!
How accurate are these weather websites?
The temperature on the weather websites are taken as air temperature and in the shade so add about 10 degrees more than you see there

Was chatting to a turkish lady on a forum earlier and she says its nearing 50 degrees at the moment and like a sauna, shes slighlty more inland tho so id say at coast the 45 degrees is more than likley correct
if you left a thermometer on a sunbed in direct sunlight(like you are when you sunbathe) then the temp is 50C + , If you sat the thermometer in the shade at dinner time then the temperature is 40C+, the average air temp for the day is about 35c ... hope that helps.
blimey , i was in zante in late june and they were just having their heatwave , is it still there i wonder or moved over to turkey !
i think the heatwave started in tukey at the begining of may i was there in side and was really hot . i went back to side in june for a week a was told it just got hotter day by day it was too hot then so i cant imagine what it is like now .
