We also stayed in the Flamingo Oasis -(Benidorm) again superb entertainment and near to all that Benidorm has to offer
These are both All Inclusive hotels which we find excellent value for money when you have children
We've been to Alcudia, stayed at the Alcudia Pins. This year we went to the Esperides Beach in Rhodes. Only thing with the Esperides is if your used to the beach in Alcudia then the beach will be a let down. Everything else about the place was great though. We have kids aged 14,13, 8 and 8.
We're fans of Playa D'en Bossa in Ibiza, been there twice staying at the Fiesta hotels. They are great for all ages too.
I'm busy looking for somewhere for next summer but can't find anything to suit our budget yet!
We really enjoyed Tsilivi in Zante. We stayed at the Planos Bay Apartments two years running, which my kids loved(18,14 & 6). We booked late, about 8 weeks before and it was okay price wise.Lots to do in the resort,fantastic resturants, all very child friendly. I do agree with the previous post about being a little disappointed with the beaches after staying in Alcudia, really hard to find such a fantastic beach. But the beach is clean and stays shallow for quite far out,just smaller really. There are a couple of really good websites to gather information;

Hope this helps,

Have been to Alcudia a few times and it was good for the kids but would not go back there as we love the Algarve. Have been to Albufeira 5 x in the last 3 years and our kids love it there (ages 7 & 4). Great beaches, friendly people, cheaper than Spain and plenty going on especially in the Old town.
thanks i will look into all the suggestions and hopefully get something 4 next year julie
Have a look at the San Miguel hotel and beach club In Ibiza. There's a long thread on the Ibiza discussion forum . We're back there next year for the 5th time
The facillities for the Kids are amazing as well as the close proximity to the waterpark.
The rooms have also been refurbished since we last visited in 2004.
