Some resort reviews I've read about Calan Forcat suggest there are lots of snack bars and English style restaurants but don't mention much about Spanish restaurants/ Tapas bars etc.
Can anyone who's been there before put my mind at rest and confirm there are enough local restaurants for a week's holiday?
Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against people going to "English" restaurants in the med, but I'd prefer to find a few more spanish ones.
Cheers
Ciutudella - which is a 5 min cab away is typically Spanish. Lots of lovely restaurants on harbour and the little side streets. Good if you havent got youngsters as Cala n Forcat caters for more for them. There is a few good restaurants there though e.g Las Brasas with its suckling pig and jugs of Sangria with a nice setting etc is really nice. I am also not one for roast dinners and typical English food when i am away and i dont think Calan Forcat is typically like this if you dont want it to be, unlike some Spanish resorts.
