Distance is approx 80 mile, easiest way to visit them is by autogar ( coach ) from Marmaris station to Fethiye station, then on to olu Deniz by dolmus, coach is not expensive, maybe about £8.00 and dolmus takes you direct to Olu and i think that is about 3 YTL.

Whereabouts is the coach station in Marmaris and does anyone know what time the last coach from Olu would be? 80 miles is do-able for a day trip and I've never been to Olu Deniz before so would like to take a look.

The coach station in Marmaris is by all the booking offices if I remember correctly.
From Atta Turk Statue, walk towards Burger King, (opposite direction from the sea) then carry on to Tansas Supermarket, which are both on your left.
Turn left at the first road, and the "Otto Park" is on your left.

This post seems to have caught some interest, Sorry i can't help with time tables etc. but i would think that the journey could be done in say 2.5 hours, then a 20 min dolmus ride, but here's one to think about, why not stay overnight, there are countless hotels just up the road from olu in Hisaronu or Ovacik that would happily put people up for the night, going rate would probably be around £15.oop per room with brekkie. just take a look around the place, some hotels would have a sign up saying " bos oda var "
translation is there are empty rooms.

the bus station is out of town but they transport you from the booking offices as mentioned above.
