Nearly unknown and an insider tip, is the restaurant "Es Verger" in the mountains above Alaro. To reach it you have to drive an adventoures serpentine road from Alaro in the signposted direction "Castillo". The arduous trip is well worth it as you have a marvellous view over the complete island. In the rustic restaurant you will receive, in our opinion, the best roast lamb on the island. After your meal you have to try Francisca's well known "Cremadillo"... a typical Majorcan friendships drink .and then"¦ . (you'll find the way back down much easier
