Hi
We are looking to book a last minute holiday due to my other half just having had a complete knee replacement and being unable to book till we got the all clear from the doctor.
We are thinking of Turkey but we have got to ensure that where we go is flat due to the fact that the other half will still be on crutches. We would also like to have a short transfer time from the airport so that he is not sat any longer then neccessary.
Also I do not like Blackpool type resorts. We stayed at Icemeler a few years ago and that suited us but we would like to try another area.
I have looked at the reports for Dalyan and this sounds ideal. We do like to try and travel and visited different places and enjoy boat trips. My concern with regards to travelling is the dolmus and the fact he is on crutches. Would they be to limited in space. Does any one have any thoughts on that?
Many thanks for any help you can give

i can honestly say that the only hilly resort that we have seen is hisaranou i think most
resorts you should be fine with but just make sure that when you book the
hotel you ask for ground floor as not many (exept the huge AI) have lifts.
and not too many steps.

Belek is flat and the transfer is only about 35 mins.
Agree with Bitez perfectly flat and Calis Beach also great just back and had a great time. Very similiar to Bitez.
Bitez is a great place to go. My dad's friend had a knee operation before he went to Bitez and he found it perfect there as it is so flat and everything is close together.
Very near Fethiye for a different day/night out by water taxi.
Nice promenade along the front with moderate bars and restaurants.
they may have been improved since I was last there.
Calis pavements away from the front can be poor. There are plenty of hotels just a few roads back though, wouldn't really want to be any further away as Calis is all based around the beach front.
Best place is Sarigerme from Dalaman Airport.. Close distance and beautiful...
