before i start, got to say many thanks in advance for any replies
ive done all the other island and this is my last one to visit, just returned from tenerife last week so i'm itching to get so more sun, as ive never reviewed this island at all i'm not quite sure of what its all about, they will be 2 adults one child aged 10 (girl) and one infant 2 years old, we like self catering, not a roudy accommation, loves going to family bars, and eating out every night so not to far from the main streets (not british food)
Green Golf Bungalows in Maspalomas, have been twice this year and perfect for a family holiday, nice and safe and lots of continental eateries either along the road in the Faro Centre of a 4-5 euro taxi trip down to the Lighthouse area or Playa de Inglis.
cheers, what tour operater does these apartments
Booked up again this morning for first Two weeks in September '09, Two adults, £1038 (£519 each) for 14 days, includes Two weeks carpark at Bristol Airport, less £150 for booking before the end of October '08.
If you do book for Green Golf e mail them in advance and ask for a bungalow that is alongside the golf course, we have been twice before and have been given a golf course bungalow both times by asking for it.
many thanks thats around the same time roughly we go on holiday every year aswell
http://www.cordialcanarias.com We were at the green golf in september and booked direct for 240€ for the bungalow for 1 week, and found our own flights. A 5/8 min walk takes you to the Faro 2 cc with shops/cafes/bars and restuarants. Our favorite restuarant there is Michael Angelos (italian). On the maspalomas/melonares beach you have the Boulovard with its array of really nice cafes/bars/restuarant and shops, a little bit more up market. You can walk there which takes about 20/25 mins steady walk, or jump in a taxi 3/4€ ask for El Faro (lighthouse) and with the lighthouse facing you take a right and walk past the big hotel. A five min taxi to PDI where there are loads of places to eat, out favorite there is El Gauchos with loads of fairy lights outside behind the big church next to the Kasbah. Any thing else you want to know just ask.
Hi Litlelegs, we are green golf and sandy golf addicts, have stayed at both complexes to many times to mention over the last 11 years, both in a fab area, opposite the golf course peaceful and relaxing. Green golf have duplex style bungalows with bedroom/bathroom and a small balcony upstairs, with safe in the wardrobe, kitchen/living area downstairs with a nice size terrrace and garden with table and chairs, and 2 fab big pools. sandy golf across the road are single storey bungalows, bedroom (i think) is slighty bigger with more storage space for clothes, a liitle enclosed courtyard at the back for hanging clothes, and a large terrace with sunloungers, table and chairs, and a garden, and a very nice large circular pool. supermarket and entertainment is at the green golf, but you can use both complexes. Take a look at their site 3 adults 2 kids thomas cook prices includes flight meals ect.. they want £1,794. thompsons want a staggering £2,357 (no meals)
all these are flying out on the same dates and the same airport, so you can save a massive £563 with thomas cook
well ive just booked the green golf for the 14th sept 09, for 2 adults 2 kids for £1,499 i though that was a good price really, thats for a two bedroom apartment aswell with day time flights both ways.
