it is called niu blau - it is a nice beach, the lost mountain orchestra play on sundays quite often down the far end by the spanish restaurant there (food is good but not cheap)

IbizaA-Z.com - click on "beaches" weve got probably every beach on the map and 90% with pics and text

My favorite is Cala Martin, well worth the walk and a lovely beach bar to have lunch.

We get fed up just sitting in one place, so we walked further on past the Sol hotel, we walked for a good hour passing numerous beaches all lovely, at the end we had a lovely lunch them wandered back. probably ended up at the beach mentioned above.

Why not do what the previous posters has said but walk all the way into Santa Eulalia and get a taxi back. Its a lovely walk and will only take about an hour. You pass a few beaches but I wouldnt say any of them are beautiful.Cala Pada is about the biggest of them and is nice.

from front of hotel ie main door head for cala nova hotel and follow the road, cant go wrong, nice waves etc, although half way along there seems to be a nudist part!! so if you have kids be carefull. its bout 15 mins walk, alternatively go out hotel gate by the pool and instead of turning right onto beach go left and keep walking round, its a redish colour path and then across the rocks too. hope this helps.

I don't know enough about Es Cana's surrounding beaches to comment, (I'm happy enough with the excellent - very safe each in Cala Llonga), but from the times I've visited Es Cana, I've always found it quite pleasant. It can be hectic on a Wednesday, when the Hippy Market is in town, but that in itself is very popular and worth seeing.

I agree with previous posters that Casper is entitled to express an opinion, but just feel the words could have been chosen better, as the last thing we want to do here is worry people, unnecessarily, that they have booked the holiday from hell.

I'm sure Judy will enjoy Es Cana. The island is also small enough that you could spend your whole holiday exploring it, and the other resorts, if you really coudn't stand the resort you were staying in, wherever that might be.

Oh for gods sake I can't believe how sensitive you all are, this was a remark made months ago and you are still going on about it. This is a discussion forum and consequently everybody is allowed an opinion in it no matter who agrees or disagrees with it. Either join in at the time or stay out of it, but please don't step in and start bleating on four months after the event.

I would just like to point out that if a topic has not been locked it is always open to input from members.

As you say
This is a discussion forum and consequently everybody is allowed an opinion in it no matter who agrees or disagrees with it.
surely it therefore means that there is no time bar on a topic no matter when it was first raised.
