i think i know the answer but does the EHIC (E111) apply in turkey ?
i think not but thought i`d check

would not have thought so as it was abolished about 18mths ago to be replaced by the EUHC see this thread for all information

taken a look at the DHSS site and we do not have an arrangement with Turkey so full travel insurance is a big MUST HAVE
