Iberotel Lamaya, Marsa Alam

We're off to the Iberotel Lamaya in Marsa Alam on 19th September for 2 weeks. I wondered if anyone else had stayed there and could offer advice on a couple of things :

The evening dress code for men in the restaurant ....... is it long trousers or are smart shorts acceptable ?

The laundry facilities ............. has anyone used them. I want to cut down on the luggage we take and use the in house laundry. Only thing that puts me off is a bad experience we had on a Nile Cruise a couple of years ago when the stuff we had washed came back about 2 sizes smaller !!! As we are All Inclusive I wanted to be sure the clothes we take will still fit us at the end of the 2 weeks

Hi Carol

An update on the Lamaya. We got back last Thursday and we had THE most relaxing holiday ever. The hotel is spotlessly clean, all of the staff are very friendly and they all ask if you are enjoying yourself and if you have any problems. The food was really good, plenty of variety ............. try the fried eggs or omelettes for breakfast or the fresh pasta at lunch or dinner - delicious. All in all we had a fantastic time, would have no hesitation in recommending it and can't wait to go back. I'll post a full review asap. If you have any questions at all please PM me and I'll try and answer them for you.
