Hi there, We are planing to go to Barcelona on the train from Pineda. could anyone tell us where the train stops, and if it is anywhere near to Ramblas, and any other interesting sites.
Also, is it easy for walking around, as I have to use a walking aid.
Thanks.
we were in calella in augut and used the trains nearly every day , didn't go to Barcelona this time as they are doing work on the lines , you have to get off at La Franca and then use the Metro...... i think the line will be back in use towards the end of this month
In May we stayed in Santa Susanna (the next resort)and travelled by train to Barcelona and we got off at (I think) Placa Catalunia (a large Square) and there is an information office here.We then walked straight through to the Ramblas.
Later we walked to the unfinished Cathedral (Sagrada Familia) but this was a very long walk.
Regards Sue
