You might remember me asking a while back if a place I thought was called "nik naks" was still in business in Pernera. The story being last year (2006) we spotted they make door numbers in sort of mosiac tile fashion and wanted one but never got around to doing it. We were hoping it was still there this year when we returned (or pain of death from Mrs AskCy).

Well fortunately it was and we went in on day one to arrange our number to be made (takes around 4 days). We decided on design and shape from several examples, reworked some of the colouring etc and even inspected it a few days later before it was fired in the kiln.

They weren't cheap but I've just fitted ours on the wall next to the door and we are both more than pleased with it, worth every penny and more.
