I've travelled all over Turkey, and much of the world too; and I can tell you that Turkey has some fantastic coastline/scenery etc...............but you chose a cheap package deal in a resort catering for Brits on a budget: what did you expect??

You've clearly got issues as regards taking advice, and that's probably why you ended up in a place you hated.

As for the fawning waiters', you could have quite easily told them: 'HANDS OFF!!' I feel you're making a molehill out of a mountain. Maybe you're not used to having waiters' pay you attention.

this does not bother me in the slightest.
the thing that does bother me is this.... 2 girls 9 and 12 mauled, kissed and dragged into shops when they clearly do not like it. This might be the norm in turkey but it isn't what my children are used to. they are strangers after all

just had 2 glorious weeks in turkey, great weather, people, food cannot fault it at all!! infact we have just booked to go back next year!
