Hi
We went to Paphos in 2005 to get married (17 of us) and we are now due to go again in October but this time just the four of us myself, Hubby and two children age 13 and 8.
To be honest though when we went for our wedding we didnt see very much with the runnung round and trying to please everyone dont get me wrong we had the best time ever but this time would like to see a bit more.. We did go to the beach at coral bay and the waterpark in Paphos but other than that and the harbour and shops and bars not much else.
So can anyone suggest days out or places to see and visit we will have a car for 2 weeks so can get about really easy..
Would going across to protaras or ayia napa be to much of a trek ??

Would going across to protaras or ayia napa be to much of a trek ??
Would take a couple of hours
There is another waterpark in Limassol - but am not sure of its openings in October.
Troodos Mountains and Kykkos Monastery, Curium Theatre (cultural). Nicosia, Limassol for shopping, Akamas Peninsula - the list is endless.
Might be worth you checking out the CTO HERE to see whats on during your visit.

Another place worth visiting is the mosaics down by Paphos harbour.
We discovered quite a nice beach at Avdimou Bay, I htink that was just the other side of Pissouri.
Amber and Karl here, you have loads to look forward to when you go away. Have a go at snorkelling at Baths of Aphrodite, go up to the Troodos and the Caledonian Falls, visit Omodos which is very picturesque. If you can exchange your hire car for a four wheel drive and go up to the Akamas---beautiful Kourion is really great, well worth the visit, the beach below is sandy and lovely, lots of taverners to go for something to eat and drink. Go to the Avgas Gorge and then on to the Last Castle for something to eat, very nice. There is so much to do we could go on for ever, have a good look round, have a great holiday, all the best Amber and Karl
