Not sure of exact costs now but when we went earlier this year it was quite expensive to eat and drink out. Thats why we go all inclusive now, although we do like to have a drink out at night.

Hi Sooze,
I'll try to help best that I can.
Basicaly you can pay as much or as little as you want, but people have told me that the prices in Olu Deniz are a bit dearer than just up the road in Hisaronu.
Anyway here goes
large beer between 2.5 and 4.00 YTL ( £1.oop - £1.6op )
Bottle of wine between 20 and 30 YTL ( £ 8.oop - " £ 12.oop ) A glass of wine is normally about 7 YTL ( £ 2.80 )
Local spirits 7 YTL ( £ 2.80 )
Imported spirits 10 YTL ( £ 4.00 )
main meal anything from £ 5.oop upwards.
Prices all depend on where you want to eat and drink, obviously the fancier the restaurant / bar, the fancier the prices are.

we have been twice this year and never paid more than 3 lire for a beer and meals were costing about £10-12 for the two of us never paid more than this, and that was for 3 courses and any drink

Hi Annamel,

You were only paying about £5 a head for a 3-course meal, plus a drink? Which restaurant was this then?

the prices are generally a little more down at olu but not alot as kevin says its cheaper up in the village or ovacik

It's even cheaper down in Fethiye (just a dolmus ride away) and that's where the best restaurants are situated.

There are some nice restaurants in Olu and Hisaronu, but if you want really good Turkish cooking, then Fethiye is the place to go.
