Yes it's fine to wear shorts and T-shirt during the day and even at night if you end up out all day.

We normally go the first week in November and find it a bit chilly first thing in the morning, too chilly for shorts, so I wear cropped or lightweight summer trousers, T-shirt and cardigan. Later in the day I may change into shorts if we go back to the room. You should be fine with cropped trousers in the evening.

In the evening I usually wear smart trousers or jeans and either a long sleeved top or short sleeved top and leather jacket. Bear in mind that show venues, casinos and restaurants can be chilly at any time due to the aircon so I always wear a jacket when we go to a show.

It should be warm enough during the day to sit by the pool, but will probably be too cold for swimming, although I have seen a few brave souls swimming. I'm not a pool person.

As you are already tanned, I would take a fairly low factor sunscreen. It shouldn't be more than the high 70's, but it's hard to predict at that time of year.

I would suggest wearing layers so that you can take off a cardi if it warms up or put it on if it cools down.

Luci is spot on with the clothing advice.

Just another suggestion though. Take plenty of moisturiser and lip salve because it is dry in Vegas. The relative humidity is much less than most other places I have ever been. We usually go with the factor 8 or 15 sunscreen, whatever we have in at the time. Not so much for the sun, but to counteract the dryness. But then I don't really tan.

We also sometimes get dry scratchy eyes, so if you are prone to that, either take some eye drops or get some from Walgreen's or CVS. (A drug store chain, there are several on the strip and one downtown) They both have a good selection.

Thanks Pebbles....good advice....I would normally take a small moisturiser with me anyway but wouldn't have thought of taking a lipsalve with me.....tho I should because my lips always get dry during a flight anyway

Are you sure you're going to need sunscreen at the end of October?! It's already getting cold here in California and I imagine it would be worse in the desert (less cloud cover). I suppose if you were going to sun bathe then sunscreen is always recommended... but I don't think it'll be that warm at the end of October/early November.

One should always wear sunscreen on exposed skin to prevent skin damage. You can get sun damage through cloud.

Factor 15 is recommended year round if you don't want to get old and wrinkly before your time.

This was taken last November. It is sunny, and was most of the time we were there. We have been in November when there was torrential rain for a couple of days, floods everywhere, but usually November is lovely.

I've been told that appart from early morning and evening the temperature is likely to reach the 70's.....I'll be slapping on my sunscreen just incase

Yeah, the early to mid 70's sounds about right. So not too hot then.
