Its certainly the area for the posers, quite a few celebs are to be found, I've bumped in to Claire Sweeney a couple of times and most of the Aston Villa players were there a couple of years back.

Prices tend to be a bit more expensive as you would imagine, and the prices at Tristan restaurant are.......well not for the faint hearted.

My favourites haunts there are Binnacle restaurant and Diabiltos Upstairs chill out lounge (open air).

There are 2 parts - the village, and the Port.

The village is nice, not too touristy, although lots of Brits live there, and there are a couple of reasonable priced Hotels. Nice Bars and Restaurants - not too badly priced.

About 5 minutes walk away (10 minutes walk back - you'll see what I mean!) is the Port which is very exclusive, and where there are dozens of multi million pound yachts, and some of the most exclusive Shops, Bars and Restaurants on the Island - and exclusive means expensive. We took some friends there for a drink and the round for 4 drinks at one bar was over 30 euros!

There are also a couple of bars a little more reasonable, but it's certainly a nice place to visit, and take a bit of bread to fish the huge fish in the Harbour.

Even if you don't stay locally, it's a must place to visit - only a few minutes walk from Marineland.

Cheers
