my wife and i made the trip from Goa last year, we used a local tour shop and had a very good trip. To cut to the chase, we paid £550.00 all in for the 2 of us, this included pick up from our hotel and taken to the airport, flight to New Dheli, picked up at Dheli airport and driven to Agra (a long journey down a very interesting dual carridgeway!) our guide met us at our hotel in Agra and took us straight to the river at the rear of the Taj to watch the sun go down (and through the set of a bollywood movie!)Our guide then took us the next morning on a short walk through the park to the Taj to watch the sun rise and see all the colour changes as the sun gets up, our guide grew up playing football in the Taj and knew everything about the place,
we were then taken on a short tour of Agra before being driven back to Dheli for our overnight stay, next morning we were taken to the airport for our return flight back to Goa, pick up from the airport and driven back to our hotel. All in all we thought this was very good value for money, i looked on the internet before we went on holls and best we could find cost

P S a couple staying in the hotel we were at tried to arrange this trip by themselves and spent so much time trying to book flights, hotels etc. that i don't think they made it.
