hmm not sure about after the fire to be honest (was last august)as you say its right outside the station and i dont get down that way often ,will ask around see what i can find out
one thing that might put you off is if there is a football match on fans tend to come straight off the train and into there ,let me know dates and will look

you might be better off being up round the bailgate area (castle/cathedral) more choice round here ,also better scenery and nicer area ,its only a 5min taxi ride or a 10/15 min walk

Hello all, and especially Lincoln Imp,

I plan to visit Lincoln to use the Lincolnshire Archives, probably 3 nights (2 days). Time will be important to me so I would like to stay near the Archives. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive hotel not too far from the archives. I only need clean and safe, but quiet would be nice.
