We've been to the Holiday Inn for the last seven years. It's a great hotel, friendly staff a great place to relax. Have done quite a bit of referbishment over the last three years to stay up to date. The beach parties are fantastic. Best time we had was when england won the rugby world cup, 50 english 1 aussie, my wife stayed by the pool. Bettys boats are just a 5 min walk away, you have to go on the river trip, all the booze you can drink for 700 rupees, £10 as well as a three course meal which is out of this world.
We always go in november, and could point you in the right direction, but my wife is having chemo at the moment as she has cll and can't travel until march next year, so we'll be in goa then.
