We went to the Kamat - met some people and they'd brought a mega lump of cheese over with them...so 'helped' them out with it ..with wine of course (they'd bought that in with them from Bahrain - one of those cardboard 3ltre jobbies). Seemed very nice there - bit more 'plush' than we're used to staying in
You can easily get a tuk tuk right outside the Kamat to take you down to the beach beside St Anthony's chapel - then you can use Fishermans Paradise shack too - wooo hooo! I'll be able to let Damian know to expect you too! LOL!
Agree with 'first timers' going to Candolim...but Wicked is dead hard...so she'll be fine! LOL!
We have stayed at Highland, Casablanca & Prazeres.
The Casablanca & Highland were about the same class. Prazerez we stayed at 2 years ago and it was no where near as good.
The Casablanca is closer to the beach.
I would choose either the Highland or Casablanca.
Come to a meeting while you are there and let us know which one you chose.
Kamat holiday homes was the second hotel i stayed at in Goa, it was a good hotel, but i stayed there over 5 years ago so im not sure anymore
